Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were small, old, and not particularly comfortable, but the location was super convenient. The service was friendly and helpful, but the lack of ventilation made the rooms hot and stuffy. The dining experience was good in terms of food variety, and the facilities were satisfactory.
I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were basic but good value for money, very quiet, with a great breakfast, and the staff was really helpful. However, the lack of ventilation made the room extremely hot and stuffy, which was a bit uncomfortable after the first night.
The hotel had spacious rooms located on the ground floor, which also feature balconies and are larger compared to other establishments. However, they were a bit on the smaller side. The staff, especially during every shift, were extremely helpful; in fact, they were great. They were very kind and helpful throughout my stay, from housekeeping to welcome drink and tours/ticket assistance. The location was quite central, although I didn't always feel safe as a single traveler and didn't dare to go out at night. Despite being opposite the Gare St Jean with establishments like porno cinemas, sex shops, and druggie cafes, it was at a walking distance from all attractions. The dining offered a buffet with a wide variety of options, including pancakes, pastries, French cheese, sausages, bacon, eggs, fresh oranges, yogurt, and more, which were delicious; I ended up eating much more than needed to be full. The hotel's facilities were modern and convenient. The price for the value provided was excellent.
The hotel's location, right across from Gare Saint-Jean, is super convenient, but it can get a bit restless and noisy at night. The rooms, though clean and well-equipped, lack some essential amenities like air conditioning and a fridge. The service from staff members like Maxime and Pauline is exceptional, making the stay very welcoming. The dining options are decent with a good selection of items available. Overall, a convenient stay with a few drawbacks.
